Calling all cosplayers! Put that scale mail and armor to use, Dragonborn. Bask in the glory of being the Doom Slayer. Stealth your way through BYOC as Emily. Mimic matter and become the best Space Banana Typhon you can be! The cosplay contest is back this year.  Enter the QuakeCon® Cosplay Contest for your chance to win up to $2,000!

Summary of Rules

  • Limit to 250 contest Entries total, one (1) Entry per person.
  • Total of $4,000 in cash prizes.
  • Entry must include at least one character from a game published by Bethesda Softworks and may not include characters or content from IPs not owned by ZeniMax Media.
  • Contestants must enter solo for cosplay (no group cosplay category) and must be able to enter the room and walk the stage without additional help.
  • Contestants must adhere to the Rules of QuakeCon® and the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center in addition to the Official Rules of the Cosplay Contest.
  • Registration requires the upload of at least one (1) image in the following format: JPEG, PNG, or other image file type. Maximum file size is 5MB.

How to enter:

  • The QuakeCon® 2019 Cosplay Contest submission form can be found here: Submission Form
  • To qualify to win the Contest, you must be registered to attend and must be present at QuakeCon®  during both the preliminary judging and contest finals. To register for QuakeCon®, visit https://www.showclix.com/event/quakeconyod.
  • Contestants can submit their entry online between May 9, 2019 and June 30th, 2019.  The first 250 registries will be accepted.
  • Contestants may be disqualified if they do not meet the criteria in the Official Contest Rules, the submission contains inappropriate language or any offensive, violent, harmful, or sexually explicit content, or violates any rules of QuakeCon®.
  • The top twelve (12) contestants will be invited to on stage during the final judging at QuakeCon®.

Prizes:

  • The total prize pool for the Contest is $4,000. Grand Prize is $2,000, Second (2nd) Place is $1,250, Third (3rd) Place is $750.
  • Additional prizes and raffles may be announced closer to QuakeCon®
  • Prize winners will be announced during QuakeCon®  on July 27, 2019
